Lake
Como is a stunning glacial lake. Shelley said it 'exceeds
anything I ever beheld in beauty' and nothing has changed
since he was gadding around with Byron. Joyfully the sides
of the lake are so steep that development is almost inpossible.
Go in the spring, before the tourists, when the mountains
are still snow-capped... There is nothing like it.
